Perth Craft & Quilt Fair - workshops and make & takes

This week, from Wednesday till Sunday, the Craft & Quilt Fair will be on in Perth at the Convention & Exhibition Centre. Craft Queen will be there will plenty of new products and some great show specials. Stand G32

We are running 2 free workshops each day;

• Workshop 3   10 am Card making - the basics   If you are looking for a fun and practical hobby, why not try card making? Nicole will show you the materials and tools you need to get started and then share some tips for quick and easy cards.
• Workshop 3    12.30pm Trends in Paper Crafts  Nicole will update you on the latest trends in card making and scrapbooking and show a variety of samples to inspire you.

We are also running 2 make and takes each day; (book at the stand)

• make & take 4 -11am Christmas cards You'll make 3 cards in class and 3 more at home with your kit. Cost $20

• make & take 4 1pm Creative card class You'll make 3 cards using washi tape, punches and dies. You'll have materials to make 3 more at home. Cost $20

Kaisercraft Floral Delight

Jo Tritton created these gorgeous cards using the Kaisercraft floral delight range of papers. She has added our gorgeous rosette ribbon trim.

For this card Jo has tied a satin seam binding bow and added a paper blossom to the centre. The flower and leaves are from the collectables pack and the little pearl trim is a prefect embellishment.

This is the paper pad Jo has used. It is a gorgeous colour pallet if you are looking for some different florals.

Kelly Dunlop created this adorable of tags. She has combined layers of Collections papers, washi tape, ribbons and Craft Queen embellishments to create these vintage style tags.

Mother's Day Cards - 6" Paper Pads

Mother's Day is 1 week away, and for those of you who enjoy making handmade cards, I thought I would share a couple of cards using the gorgeous Prima Divine 6" paper pad and the matching Notecards and Crate Paper Fourteen 6" paper pad.  Using 6" paper pads with a few gorgeous embellishments and a little washi tape or ribbon are a quick and easy way to create a special card without too much fuss, to show one of the most special people in your life how much you care.
