Christmas ribbon wreath tutorial from Petrina
The ribbons I have used here are in Christmas colours and make a great embellishment for a gift tag or Christmas themed layout. Of course Christmas doesn't always have to be red and green and the gorgeous stitched ribbon with the ruffle edge that forms the basis of the wreath comes in so many different colours!
I started with just less than 30cm of the stitched ribbon, and approximately 50cm of the narrow satin ribbon. It is best to keep the narrow satin ribbon as a whole length and snip the ends of the knots as you go as it can be a little fiddly.
The hint of gold in the edge of the black and red ribbon underneath the wreath adds a little touch of class. Tags in the Christmas theme that would look good for this project, such as these by Anna Griffin, or any of the Kaiser journal tags.
