Card kit giveaway

This kit was so popular we decided to release it again. This time you'll make 10 cards designed by Sandie Downey. It is available online now for $22 or you can win a pack here (pack includes most of the kit except 1 paper. We have included more of the other papers!). Just leave a comment telling us what you think makes a good card kit? Winner will be random and announced on Sunday around 5pm.
The winner of the kit is Rachel - congratulations and thanks to everyone for their feedback.

  1. You gotta love a card kit particularly if good pictures are included - I love a bit of inspiration! I think the quality of the paper, ribbons and embellishments also are very important. Thanks for the competition. Tanya

  2. I think it is important that the card carries the message of what you are trying to convey to the recipient. i like cards with lots of die cuts on

  3. I think a card kit is ideally suited to a beginner so should include easy to follow instructions/measurements as well as including a lovely variety of different embellishments. Good quality and well cut card stock can make all the difference too.

And of course because a card kit is great for any level of crafter some extra examples or a link to a page where other examples can be seen is a fabulous bonus.

I like card kits to have good clear photos of a good size so it's easy to follow what has been done. Also to have some interesting/different embellishments to play with. The best thing about a card kit is that everything is there ready for you and you just need to sit down and start making!!

  5. I love making cards. I think a card kit should incudle everything that is need to make the cards and the intructions are able to be followed by learners and advance crafters. The quality of the products should reflect the cost of the kit. Yes there should be examples of the cards you can make on the instruction sheet. The most important thing is the measurements. Measure twice then again then cut to ensure you get it right.
I just adore the Graphic 45 paper. To win this kit would be a lovely dream. Many thanks.

  8. oh my that IS a gorgeous kit. I think having plenty to choose from but not being overwhelmed by choice is good for what ever level of card making a person's at. Everything co-ordinating yet can be used separately, does that make sence? Sample pictures for ideas and/or a few sketches to get a person thinking lateraly, it's all good!

  10. The background is the starting point of a great card, so beautiful paper is most important.
