Another water colour technique

Kim also had a play with this new Darkroom Door stamp set and distress inks.

Step 1: Dab the ink pad onto the acrylic block.

Step 2: Spray with water. Kim used a mini mister but any spray bottle will work. (These are a handy small size)

Step 3: Stamp the image using black archival ink. Then using a fine paint brush apply the paint to the stamped image.

Kim made this gorgeous set of cards using this technique.

Materials: Darkroom Door fine flowers stamp set, yellow cobweb ribbon, yellow chevron ribbon, turquoise stripe ribbon, Tim Holtz mini distress ink - tumbled glass

Kim drew the border by hand using a fine felt tip pen. It looks fabulous doesn't it!

Materials: Darkroom Door fine flowers stamp set, Darkroom Door brushed sentiments stamp set, pink tiny twine, Kaisercraft circles embossing folder, Tim Holtz distress ink pad - victorian velvet

Again Kim has drawn the borders by hand. A perfect finishing touch.

Materials: Darkroom Door fine flowers stamp set, pale lemon satin seam binding, Tim Holtz distress ink - milled lavender

thanks Kim!
